Dr Harleen Kaur

A love of animals came early for Dr Harleen Kaur. Growing up with dogs, she saw first-hand the joy, companionship and special place that pets bring to a family.

A veterinarian for more than 15 years, Dr Harleen graduated in India before moving to New Zealand in 2012. She spent more than a decade in small animal practice, caring for dogs and cats and becoming closely involved in a family-owned veterinary clinic, where she contributed to both the clinical work and the day-to-day running of the practice. This experience shaped her warm, practical approach to veterinary care and her appreciation for the relationships built with pets and their families over many years.

Dr Harleen believes in thoughtful, personalised care: taking the time to listen, explaining things clearly and working with owners to make the best decisions for each pet.

In 2024, Harleen and her family made Melbourne their home. Outside the clinic, she is a mother of two and enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and making the most of the quieter moments in a busy family life.

She looks forward to getting to know the pets and families of Balwyn North and to being a trusted part of their care through every stage of life.
