In-House Laboratory Testing
Laboratory testing helps us investigate illness, assess organ function and identify underlying health concerns that may not be apparent on a physical examination.
Our in-house IDEXX laboratory allows us to perform a range of diagnostic tests, with results available within an hour for many routine tests.

Accurate testing, informed decisions
Running tests here in the clinic helps us get answers sooner and plan your pet’s care with confidence.
Our diagnostic services include:
- Blood testing, to assess organ function and investigate conditions such as kidney and liver disease, diabetes and anaemia
- Urinalysis, to evaluate urinary tract health and identify potential abnormalities
- Faecal testing, to investigate intestinal parasites and digestive concerns
- Reference laboratory testing, for specialised tests when further investigation is required
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Every pet deserves
to be treated as an individual.
Compassion first
We want every visit to feel calm, respectful and comfortable for your pet.
Care that's considered
We look beyond the immediate problem to understand your pet's overall health.
Clear communication
We keep you informed and explain your options in straightforward language.
Here for the long term
We're here to support your pet throughout their changing needs and different stages of life.
Testing for better health
Pre-anaesthetic blood testing can help identify potential health concerns before surgery, so we can plan your pet’s anaesthetic and care safely. Routine screening may also benefit senior pets and pets with ongoing medical conditions.

Understanding your pet’s results
Our veterinarians will recommend the tests that are right for your pet, explain the results to you and discuss any further investigations or treatment needed.
